Andean Wolf

The Andean fox, often called the Andean wolf, is one of the most discreet predators of the high Andes. Moving quietly through páramo landscapes and mountain slopes, it is rarely seen and easily overlooked. These images were captured in Ecuador, where the species lives at high altitude in open, wind-shaped environments.
